We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cashier/Line Cook to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for food service and culinary arts to contribute to a dynamic dining environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at the register while preparing and serving high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates with experience in food handling, menu planning, and kitchen operations will thrive in this position. Prior experience in catering, or restaurant environments is highly valued. This position provides a chance to develop culinary skills, gain restaurant experience, and work within a supportive team committed to food safety and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Operate cash register efficiently, accurately handling transactions and processing payments

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with menu inquiries

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards

  • Cook and assemble meals, ensuring proper presentation and food safety protocols are followed

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas

  • Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met

  • Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for daily service or special events

  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed during shifts

  • Provide excellent customer service by serving food promptly and addressing customer needs

  • Uphold health regulations and safety guidelines at all times

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or catering environments preferred

  • Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus

  • Skills in food preparation, cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly required

  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques essential

  • Experience with menu planning, or culinary arts advantageous

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to serve customers effectively

  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food industry best practices is desirable
