Since 2016, our locally owned and operated kitchen has brought authentic Levant flavors to Northern Arizona—crafted with care, family tradition, and the purest, simplest ingredients.

When we say “made from scratch,” we mean it. Every morning, before our doors open, our team is chopping, mixing, baking, and grilling everything by hand—just as our families have done for generations back home in the Levant. Nothing from a can, nothing processed, nothing rushed. Every bite tells the story of where we come from and how much we care.

What We Make from Scratch

Saj Bread (white Pita): Made in-house and grilled to order on our Saj grill for a warm, soft texture with just the right crisp.

Falafel: Freshly made from soaked chickpeas and our custom spice blend sent to us from friends in the Levant—never from mix or premade dough.

Hand-Chopped Salads: Carefully chopped by hand daily for fresh crunch and flavor.

Sauces, Spreads, Salsas & Dressings: From our Tahini Sauce to Falafel Salsa and garlic spread, to our house dressing and greek salad dressing, every sauce, spread and dressing is made in-house following authentic family recipes, using spices from the Levant.

Baklava: Made by our trusted baker-friend through an exclusive partnership, honoring traditional methods and flavors of our heritage.

Gluten-Free Pita Bread: Crafted from scratch by our baker-friend with whom we have an exclusive arrangement—soft, fluffy, and naturally delicious.

French Fries & Levant Fries: Our fries are always hand-cut from fresh potatoes—never frozen, never processed by a machine. And we don’t peel our potatoes because the skin holds the best nutrients and natural flavor.

Our ketchup we give to you with your fries is made with real sugar, always has been this way at MPW.

Meats: All of our meats are prepared and marinated in-house using our own family recipes and spice blends.

Our Chicken Shawarma is made with high-quality Halal chicken that is always 100% antibiotic- and hormone-free.

Our Beef Shawarma is also 100% antibiotic- and hormone-free, free-range, grass-fed, and Halal.

We make our Kefta in-house from scratch, blending fresh herbs and spices by hand.

While our Lamb-Beef Gyro and Chicken Gyro meats are the only proteins not made in-house, we source them from trusted suppliers who never use MSG, fillers, preservatives, or other artificial ingredients, and also gluten free.

We’ve always chosen quality over shortcuts and proudly pay more to serve the cleanest, most flavorful meats possible.

Oils: We use pure olive oil imported from the Levant in all of our sauces, spreads, and dressings, never seed oils or cheap substitutes. It’s the same olive oil our families have cooked with for generations, rich in flavor and full of natural antioxidants. While chain restaurants rely on industrial seed oils for convenience and cost, we stay true to our roots with authentic, heart-healthy olive oil in every recipe.

Beverages: Nothing in our Beverage Fridges or Corner Grocery store has any artificial sweeteners, dyes, or anything else that we don’t eat or drink ourselves.

This isn’t new to us and this is not about marketing, it is our culture to eat healthy.
